I'm so mad at the plate I just started using with my Gemini Jr. This machine AWESOME cuts the toughest dies the first time. Rotating the platters can help prevent them from deforming unusably BUT this new platter has only gone through this machine a few dozen times and as you can see the top just snapped through. I went online to check and make sure I ordered a genuine Gemini record and indeed, as the packaging underneath my record shows, it's genuine. I can't afford to buy wafers every month and I really need a solution that will help me find a way to extend life and prevent SUCH a failure. Deformation and cut lines are normal, but a crack of this magnitude can damage and ruin the car. Can you get your money back? I have no idea. The crack is also very sharp, so maybe I'll seal it myself too!
