It works just as well as you would expect for $18.
The first one I received didn't vacuum. Even if I primed the line myself. The second worked. They're built very cheaply, but you should already know that you're making the purchase. I disassembled mine. This is a rotary vane pump (sheet copper vanes). If you don't have suction it's very easy to take it apart. If you pour a little oil in it maybe it will work.
