Review on T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick 17-Piece Cookware Set in Black by Jana Bramlage

Huge disappointment

While well constructed, I've had the most serious sticking issues with these T-Fal Ultimate Hard Anodized nonstick pans I've ever used. The juice of the Polish sausage burns into fine charcoal that can hardly be separated. The chicken is so sticky that it rips apart if you try to turn it over. Eggs stick, leaving a thin layer of burnt crust. These pans behave like unoiled bare metal pans. Cleaning is extremely difficult. It takes me 10 minutes to clean them with a 3M sponge, scrape them with a plastic tool and rub them with baking soda. T-Fal customer service says pans need to be "seasoned" (oiled) with hot oil every 10 washes in order for them to have nonstick properties, just like an old oil-free pan, so they're called nonstick. Floor? By the way, I seasoned them before the first use and only used them 6-8 times. The 15-year-old Teflon pans they replaced never required this level of maintenance and didn't have as many sticking problems. For me this is a big disappointment.
