Seduced by good reviews. There was an error. My last set of T-Fal lasted 10 years so I was hopeful. Supplied in a PLAIN BROWN box. I would expect manufacturer packaging, right? Deformed, bent, damaged, non-stick coating worn out. Before first use! I contacted tfal and was told the lids are not closed for "safety reasons", which is handy because 3 out of 6 lids are defective (warped or bent) from the factory. They also said they don't cover the nonstick coating. They also don't cover shipping. While well constructed, I've had the most serious sticking issues with these T-Fal Ultimate Hard Anodized nonstick pans I've ever used. The juice of the Polish sausage burns into fine charcoal that can hardly be separated. The chicken is so sticky that it rips apart if you try to turn it over. Eggs stick, leaving a thin layer of burnt crust. These pans behave like unoiled bare metal pans. Cleaning is extremely difficult. Overall a great product. I'm very happy with the quality and so far the non-stick feature works phenomenally. I chose anodized titanium rather than copper like some have and it works well and hasn't had some of the issues that others have. I've always had bad experiences with copper, so I just keep my hands off it. As a warning, you MUST use these pans on medium heat; My glass oven heats up to 10 and I don't use it above 8.
