I have had several different Smart Switches. Lately I've had 3 different brands with 3 different apps including the IHome app which worked horribly with Alex and kept losing connection, some were using the Smart Life app which almost made me lose my religion trying to use them Keep everyone connected, and a light switch and socket with the Kasa App (TP Link). The only two that worked every time and had a mutually beneficial relationship with Alexa were the ones in the Kasa app. After finally giving up on the others, I took 2 of them. PERFECT! Easy setup. There's no insane need to scan the back of a plug that's clearly plugged in, so you can't scan something like that - or hold down a button for 15 seconds and then quickly press it three times - insane. Fast connection and since Alexa already had my Kasa experience, instant recognition. Needless to say I am very happy! From now on I will NOT use ANYTHING that doesn't work with the Kasa app!
