I bought one of these gates which looks similar but without legs (from another manufacturer) and it keeps tipping over when my child walks over it and their jacket or leg touches it. after tipping it over a few times, it fell apart completely! So I ordered this gate and it is in very good condition. It's almost double the price but it gets beat up every day, it never tips over or breaks at all, I wish I'd bought it in the first place, it would save me time and frustration. It smells awful from the packaging but that goes away after a few days. Use support legs! They may not look as slick, but they work and you get used to having them
