Overall I like this welding helmet. It auto-darkens as it should, can be worn over a flat-face respirator, and the headgear has many adjustments to accommodate any head size and shape. The only thing I don't like is how the helmet holds up when you pick it up. It uses a ratchet to hold the hood up, unlike most other hoods which move smoothly until they click into place. While the ratchet system works on this hood, personally I would have preferred the standard lock open top system. Plus it's a great welding helmet at a great price for the hobbyist or as a fallback.
