I've always liked Zerowater products, but I've always stopped using the jugs because I kept filling and maintaining them and they never kept up with our consumption. That thing is the bomb! We fill it up once a day and have perfect water everywhere. And there's no blame for the carbon footprint associated with producing bottled water. I read the reviews before purchasing and heeded the warnings of others who had issues. Here's how we set up ours to fix these issues: 1. Order an Oak Leaf Dispenser and don't mess around with a pre-made plastic experience: https://www.amazon.com/Dispenser-Replacement-Oak-Leaf-Stainless /dp/ B013FWX4HA/ ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords =oak+leaf+water+spout&qid=1604162211&sr=8-12. Slow filling. Move the plastic filter basket assembly closer to the front of the unit than it is in the glass tank. This creates enough airflow clearance at the back to balance the water/air pressure and get the water flowing out of the nozzle quickly. In other words, don't place that suction cup right in the middle of a glass thing - it won't work. Move it to the side as much as possible, cover with a lid, you won't see the difference, but you will definitely feel the difference.3. Lasting taste. Here in Fort Worth, our water is treated with chloramine and it tastes weird. Of course, you can boil water to get rid of it, but who has time for that? Here's what we did: My tap water reads 205 ppm on my personal TDS meter. We take water from the fridge's filtered water (104ppm) and run it through the Zerowater system. Note that their 5 stage filter showed REALLY 0ppm in filtering out solids from the faucet, but we stopped to smell a small odor and for us that extra cycle of carbon filtration was key to getting rid of that smell . The pivot position is too high, I think that's perfect. You can easily put a tall glass underneath and I don't think they can put it any lower and still maintain the structural integrity of the device. Pour the remaining bottom water into the coffee maker and drink delicious coffee or give it to your pets when cleaning the tank. It's not a big deal to deal with. Hope this helps you!
