Purchased for avhx5700bhs. It is very strange when the plastic separation battery in the remote control is dented, not visible without removing the battery case. Once it works, the only buttons that work have to be pressed very firmly with the tip of your fingernail right in the middle of the button. There's no chance the Pioneer will release them, which is why their price is likely less than half of what the Pioneer offers. As you can see, I'm not very happy. Update: They sent me a replacement and all the buttons work great but the remote doesn't work at all. Before sending this back I changed the batteries in the first remote control and it works. excellent, all buttons work fine and worked as soon as I replaced the dead battery.
