Of all the wine aerators I've tried, this is probably the most effective for aerating wine. Unfortunately, this is also the only one that is leaking. After wine is poured through the device, with the bottle in an upright position, the wine will run off the surface where the device connects to the bottle, leaving at best a ring and at worst a puddle at the bottom of the wine bottle. It's a shame because the rest of the device works so well. If you empty the bottle right away it's probably a 5. But if you pour a glass or two, put the bottle down and then pour some more, I should have given it a 1 or 2 and wouldn't. recommend it
