Good idea and concept but the point where the plastic loop is and the stretch of the material just makes it unsuitable for some projects. The plastic sling wants to inspire you. I was planning on using them to keep the tarp rolled up when I'm in the back. They didn't fit my large tarps as the circumference was too big, but they would fit my small tarps if it wasn't for the plastic loop. Each time I pulled to tighten it, the loop twisted. I would then have to hold the loop to keep it from rotating to attach the strap. I tried using them for other purposes but encountered the same problems. I haven't tried them on anything else since I went back to the drawing board and settled on a metal loop strap that doesn't stretch.
