The hot comb does its job. I can't complain in that area. The only issue I have a problem with which is why I knocked off two stars, is that the on/off button is located exactly where your thumb placement is to hold the comb. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally turned the comb off while I was still using it. Therefore you have to hold the comb in an awkward way
