Don't drop: building materials

So I've had this flashlight for about 2.5 months now. Now that Daylight Saving Time is over I will actually be using this light a lot. I work outside and need to be able to see what I'm working on, especially in very dark places. 1) This light gives a lot of light in the dark. I managed to light up my entire small workspace. A night towards the end of summer. Which was good, but the ERRORS this thing brought was insane. (a giant flying bug scared the shit out of me) But that's what happens when you work outside. Featuring a metal loop at the top of the lantern and multiple ties. I was able to hang a flashlight so I could see. A good job in providing light. 2) Again I had to use it in a very dark place in the air. But this time I had nothing to attach myself to. So unfortunately I knocked him over in the grass. He fell on the grass. But here we have a problem. The main part of the light still works. That's what I really need. But the indicator light (the top one) doesn't work now. Indeed!? I would understand if it landed on the ground, but it doesn't work on grass. This is madness! Also, it won't stand on its own unless you have a magnet attached to something for it to cling to. So I have to deduct a star for that. I have no serious complaints. The battery lasted as long as I needed it.
