Other reviews are correct they are very difficult to turn. However, I sprayed some lube on them and now they spin fine. They are still a little stiff, but will loosen up over time. I wonder if they would come loose after engine oil leaked through them. I think it's better for them to be too tight than too loose. Also, a funnel I ordered was not properly assembled. I had to take it apart (by screwing it onto the oil bottle and pulling firmly on the hose). I snapped it in correctly and now it works perfectly. After lubricating them and assembling them properly, I have no complaints about this product. I'm not sure what a "standard" oil bottle is, but they go perfectly with our oil bottles (Aeroshell W100) which look like standard 1 liter bottles to me. I also agree that there is no other product like this; We looked. They used to sell them at Wal-Mart, but then they stopped. We were so lucky to find her on Revain. We use it to refuel our aircraft fleet in our flight school.
