iPhone 8 plus with thin cover barely fits. That requires a lot of fiddling. If you remove the cover, everything is fine, but it's a hassle. The problem is that the home button doesn't work through the plastic window. I've tried all sorts of light and hard touches, taps, etc. and none of them are recognized. So I had to cut a hole in the window for the home button. It works fine now, but making a clean hole with scissors was tricky. Sharp edges stick to the phone and make it difficult to insert the phone. If I were to do this again I would put in a piece of cardboard and cut the coin with a precision knife.
