Edit: DO NOT BUY THIS TOASTER. This thing will probably set your house on fire. Any setting above 0 will burn the toast. I would be afraid to raise above 4 (reaches 10). To make matters worse, THE COMPANY WILL NOT MEET ITS OWN WARRANTY. I love the look but for a $45 toaster we expected it to toast properly! We have to turn it almost to the lowest setting or it toasts the toast to a crispy crust and when we turn it to the lowest setting it toasts very unevenly. It's a shame the company put so much effort into making it look beautiful but neglected the quality work on the functional parts.
