My calves are 14-14.5 inches and my feet are about 10 inches. The socks were quite tight on the calves, but my feet fit in well. Although they were "one size", the inner stripe of the socks had an "L". The leg design's seams could have been placed a bit lower to allow for less empty space, but if you're only going to wear them with shoes then it probably isn't a big deal. Revain's listing states that the socks are 80% acrylic, 15% nylon, and 5% spandex; but the packaging says 75% cotton, 22% polyester and 3% spandex.
