🧦 Half Cushioned Athletic Running Sock with Knee High Length, Available in Assorted Designs Review

Just received my two pairs that I ordered for the Run for Beer socks. I thought they were knee high but they definitely aren't. They are larger than mid-calf. They are also very small with little stretch. They are good for what I wanted them for but I will not buy these socks again.

The quality of these socks is very poor. No support or cushioning to walk on, too long for average leg length, cheap fabric. The cellophane wrapper was covered with a soapy substance, the wrapper had to be thrown away, preventing me from returning four pairs bought as gifts. I will try to use them for crafting.

Gone with the Run is a great brand and easy to find. If you're one of those *those people* (my people) who gets up for a run before sitting down at the table on Thanksgiving, this is a fun nod to the holiday for your running gear. They have a bit of cushioning and I used to wear my regular socks over them so I had a normal feel while running, but that's not necessary. They compress easily too, so it's always a nice feeling. The colors are very bright and the turkey is cute!

I can't wait to wear them to Oktoberfest! They are comfortable and the colors are vibrant. The material is good too. The only downside is they don't have as much stretch in the upper that wraps around the calf, there's a tight ring of fabric (maybe that's why they don't fall off on a run?). If I had larger calves, they would probably be too tight and cut off circulation. Hope they stretch. In the photos, the socks are true to my height of 5ft 11" (I have longer legs than usual).

These are so cute socks and they stretch your calves well when you pull them up. I don't think it would be that comfortable for people with wide calves. The socks are also quite thin so I wouldn't recommend them for a turkey run. If you like soft running socks, I would recommend wearing them and adding a pair of thin socks to avoid hurting your feet when running. However, it's still very cute for the holidays and worth the fun!

My calves are 14-14.5 inches and my feet are about 10 inches. The socks were quite tight on the calves, but my feet fit in well. Although they were "one size", the inner stripe of the socks had an "L". The leg design's seams could have been placed a bit lower to allow for less empty space, but if you're only going to wear them with shoes then it probably isn't a big deal. Bought these for the 5K Halloween I did. As mentioned, the toe box of the socks was very tight. I have about 15 inch calves. It was tight but bearable for me. I would say this would work better with calves of around 12 inches or less. Unlike others, my socks came just below the knee, but I have really short legs (I wear "regular" jeans).
