I installed this on my 2013 Kia Optima EX and have driven it. This performance chip really works. Be sure to disconnect the battery negative terminal at least one hour before installation. If you don't, the device won't work properly and you'll probably think you've burned yourself on the deal. On the digital dashboard I noticed a significant improvement in acceleration and an increase in fuel consumption. Also make sure you connect the wires to the correct wires of the IAT sensor. If you have already purchased this product and think it doesn't matter, then you installed it incorrectly.
