Not recommended. I usually use Holmes brand filters and an old activated carbon pre-filter. They last about 1-2 months before we replace them (we use this air purifier in the room where the litter box is to keep odor and dust out). It's been over a month with these filters, the main filters themselves are still bright white and the charcoal filters are the only thing that catches dust. The image I provide shows the outlets of a 36 inch Holmes vertical air purifier. The outlet is where the "cleaned" or at least cleaner air needs to be released back into the environment. This is the first time I've seen dust build up in the exhaust ports. which tells me one thing. These filters don't filter anything. Between an almost new white cloth and dusty exhaust vents. It's pretty obvious. Not happy with it It's worth the extra money to buy Holmes brand filters. That and they don't fit flush in our cleaner. Little vibration noise. Another fake brand. The filter image is over a month old and almost new white. In the case of Holmes, the brand would now be brown.
