Review on Home cinema Sony BDV-N9200W by Tawan Rungthip ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor quality, not suitable for use.

The purchase is random (got in the load). Qualitatively packed, you can not be afraid to order in online stores and transport through transport companies. Assembles in 20 minutes. Sound on a ten-point scale at 3.5. No manual EQ, just presets. Obviously there is not enough bottoms, the subwoofer is barely alive - fart-fart, he is no longer capable of anything. It was not possible to fill the room of 18 squares with a clear and intelligible sound. More suitable for movies than listening to music. About the software: There is the latest firmware for Dec. 2022. The rears are cut off for 1-3 seconds, it happens 1 time in 5-8 films. Radio tuning is a masterpiece. It takes an hour to hammer 15 stations. Half of the programs are useless. About build quality: the first claim to the subwoofer. Sony engineers stretched a thin fabric over very sharp corners of the chipboard. As a result, this tissue breaks through very slowly. And I can already see the chipboard angle. Different gaps in the acoustics, if you do not look closely, it is not visible, but it will annoy the meticulous (maybe it is not so striking on the black version). The rear transmitter does not have holes for wall mounting. Although that's where he belongs. The wires are flat and rigid, but if desired, they can easily fit behind any baseboard. Slows down the playback of movies over the network with DNLA (maybe the problem is in my QNAP I'll try to test it through another NAS the other day) For ARC to work properly, a high-quality HDMI cable is required, otherwise Sonya starts to act up (go into standby mode). I will add a review in a month, I do not recommend it yet!

Pros
  • Interesting design, LED backlight, wireless rear.
Cons
  • Mediocre sound, a lot of small software glitches, there are complaints about the build quality.
