I used this on my HTPC to ensure I had an acceptable Wi-Fi signal in my living room. I use it with an internal Wi-Fi card where normally the built in Wi-Fi antennas can't get a decent signal from my hotspot because they are behind an entertainment center. These antennas did the job, but didn't do it as well as I thought they would. I was still having some issues with the Wi-Fi signal on my HTPC (it was having trouble getting to full speed) and this antenna sits on top of my entertainment center. The reality is that I've been able to use the internal Wi-Fi adapter where I otherwise wouldn't. However, it's still not perfect and didn't give me the range I was hoping for. Therefore I give 4 stars.
