Review on Stainless Steel Popcorn Popper by Cook N Home - 6 Quart Capacity, Silver Finish by Jacob Seymour

Makes popcorn easier to make

I had a popcorn maker but I started eating baby popcorn. Unfortunately, the kernels just blow out of the popper without popping and make a mess. Using a regular frying pan is a hassle as the pan needs to be constantly shaken to make sure the grains don't burn. Also, my range is electric with a glass lid, and shaking the pan back and forth scratched the surface of the glass range. Making popcorn for kids is a breeze with this popper (Cook N Home 02627 Stainless Steel Popcorn Popper, 6 Quart, Silver). Pour some oil into the pan, add the popcorn, put the pan on the fire, turn the knob slowly, pop and enjoy. I make 8 to 10 servings at a time and store the popcorn in containers to eat later. Now this is a lot easier than using a hot air popper (it will overheat if I make more than 3 batches and I have to let it cool down before using it again, popcorn aside from the issue I mentioned earlier) or a skillet (my hand is very tired of shaking it back and forth after 2 or 3 servings). The popper is very well made. Good solid construction. Good thick base that will not bend or warp when heated and cooled. I've had standard pans that look like pan poppers made with a thinner bottom where you can hear the warping and warping. This is not very pleasant to hear while cooking, and if you use thinner-bottomed pans there is a risk of burning and/or scorching food. So as long as you keep an eye on the heat (don't set the heat too high), twist the knob and remove the popper from the heat when the popcorn stops popping, you won't have any burning or scorching issues. breeze. After everything has cooled, I simply wipe out the pot and close the lid with a dry cloth. Pour oil sparingly and the pan and lid will not get greasy (the first time I used a popper I used too much oil and the pan/lid was greasy/oily; I haven't made that mistake again) . I hope you found this review helpful and after purchasing this popper you will have as much fun making popcorn as I did.
