Great pot for caramel popcorn. See recipe below.

Just great. I'm so happy I got it. I can make killer caramel popcorn in this pot. 1/2 tbsp sunflower oil (spread on bottom) 1/2 cup corn kernels Turn the knob. When the thrust begins, you must continue for another 45 seconds, always turning the handle. listed. Heaven. Welcome back. For best results, load no more than 1/2 cup at a time (if you're using non-caramel caramel, you can probably increase the amount). I'm not sure how good this pot is. this is for salted butter popcorn, but this is…

This popper is very dangerous. Can I get my money back?

When I first got this popper I thought it was great but after using it a few times the clips on the lid came loose because I removed the lid and wiped it down. The clips appear to have stretched. My husband poured popcorn into a bowl and the lid came off and the bottom part which was very hot hit my arm burned my arm and fell on the floor and we had a hot pan on our vinyl floor with no handle to lift it made a mess . I stopped using it and although my husband bent the brackets again after…

The magic of induction! on small appliances

Pros: • Works great on my induction hob - no clicking or uneven heat • 99% of beans pop resulting in thick fluffy popcorn • Pops very quickly Cons • Lid latch also unlocks Popcorn leaks easily when I try to pour it into the bucket from the unsealed side. I've tried squeezing it harder and making sure the lid is centered, but it still pops open 50% of the time. • As another reviewer noted, it's very hard. Although I like the heaviness, the latch is easier to open. If my hands are a little greasy

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

I wish I had had this many years ago

Originally I wanted a whole car with glass walls and a hanging kettle etc like in a movie theater as my family loves popcorn. There's no justification for giving up space for one and cleaning the whole car every time. It's a logical choice! Quality? I'm impressed with how good this thing is. Beautiful stainless steel finish looks like professional grade cookware. Everything is stainless steel so it's very easy to clean and I don't expect corrosion to be an issue. The lid is snug but not too…

Makes popcorn easier to make

I had a popcorn maker but I started eating baby popcorn. Unfortunately, the kernels just blow out of the popper without popping and make a mess. Using a regular frying pan is a hassle as the pan needs to be constantly shaken to make sure the grains don't burn. Also, my range is electric with a glass lid, and shaking the pan back and forth scratched the surface of the glass range. Making popcorn for kids is a breeze with this popper (Cook N Home 02627 Stainless Steel Popcorn Popper, 6 Quart…

Whirley-Pop Advanced Popcorn Machine (Aluminium, Metal Gear)

I received my Whirley-Pop in July 2010. It still works and I hesitated to update it. But I live in a small apartment and only have an induction cooker for cooking. I needed and got one that works on an induction cooktop. Cook N Home 02627 arrived today (6 days after ordering) and I've made my first batch of popcorn with it. Both panels have the same design and appearance. The difference is that Whirley-Pop is aluminum and Cook N Home is stainless steel, except both have gears that look like…

I wish I could give that 10 stars!

I love popcorn. Airy, cooked on the stove, even in the microwave if necessary, but my favorite is cinema popcorn. I don't go to the movies to sit next to strangers and cough and chat, but because I get the best popcorn there. Then I discovered that Disney World sells it and you can buy a reusable bucket for $10 and fill it forever with delicious cinema-style popcorn for $1.50. We live in central Florida and have passports so say goodbye to the theaters because now I can enjoy Disney almost…
