Review on Crazy Forts Purple: Build Limitless Imagination with 69 Pieces by Kelvin Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful building toy - my son's favorite Christmas present of 2015!

Over the last few days I have been building, tearing down and then reattaching various parts of the house with a very happy little boy. In short, Crazy Forts is a big hit in my family! I don't know what's up with so many negative reviews. These reviews made me a little hesitant before placing my order, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought two sets. is 16 inches long and the balls are about the size of a baseball. ►Assembly: One of the complaints I've seen repeatedly in negative reviews is that forts are difficult to assemble. It's not like that at all! Each purple ball has four arrows pointing to the top hole. As long as you line up the balls in the right orientation (using the arrows as a guide), you'll be building intricate and neat forts in no time. The whole concept behind the "geometrically accurate" purple orbs is to ensure the entire fort is level for quick and easy construction. So if you can align the 90° and 45° angles, then everything is fine. Another way to build a solid fortress with this set is to insert sticks into the bullet holes with a twisting motion. This ensures the clubs are pushed fully into the ball and improves the overall design. The various complaints that these forts are falling apart simply have no place. I covered my son's fort with blankets and a busy 2.5 year old keeps coming out of the fort with two dogs. The forts we built didn't fall apart. ►Recommendations: If you are considering buying this set, I really recommend buying at least two sets. One set is enough to build a few plans, including the igloo design shown in the photo. But if you're playing in the fortress with your kid, you probably need something more spacious. Two sets seem to have enough pieces to build a nice big fort that will comfortably fit two kids, two adults and two dogs. many other advantages of this set. Featured!
