Great fun - and the more the merrier!

We have two sets, my daughter is asking for the third. She has been playing with these building blocks since she was 5 years old and still enjoys them when she is almost 7 years old. She used these kits to build some amazing forts with doors, gabled roofs, window openings, and fenced backyards. I help drape blankets over the structures she builds and we used safety pins at one point to help the blankets fit better. Each kit has a light, so the two lights she now has are perfect for illuminating

Great activity for 5 year olds in the bitter cold

This was the perfect Christmas present for my twin 5 year olds! I ordered the boxes based on customer reviews and my sister in law as I bought these for my nephews many years ago. The arrows point to the top hole so you can orient the structure correctly. great for adults but a bit difficult for 5 year olds to follow and understand. The construction is solid when built well, but the balls get heavy if you try to economize on construction. We had no problem keeping 3 or 4 flat sheets on our…

Small and fragile, suitable for outdoor sports and games

Here's the thing. If your child will be sitting in this thing alone or doing very little in it, this is a great toy. However, if your child is anything like my 5 year old daughter; who wants you to play with them, or cover the construction with a blanket, or who wants to be a damsel in distress and even play a sharp, graceful hand gesture. you can reconsider. The parts themselves seem solid enough, but the structure itself is small and falls apart with every movement of any part of the frame…

Too complicated for little kids, too small for big kids

So I wanted to like this product. Waited a month to leave a review. But right now, sitting in the living room, I realized that my kids haven't played with this product for 2 weeks. Delivery was good, although it arrived later than planned, which is no big deal. The manufacturer of this product was also very helpful and very nice, so I wanted the product to be liked and hoped it would work. After helping my 9 year old and 6 year old build a couple of forts I realized pretty quickly that these…

Wonderful building toy - my son's favorite Christmas present of 2015!

Over the last few days I have been building, tearing down and then reattaching various parts of the house with a very happy little boy. In short, Crazy Forts is a big hit in my family! I don't know what's up with so many negative reviews. These reviews made me a little hesitant before placing my order, but I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought two sets. is 16 inches long and the balls are about the size of a baseball. ►Assembly: One of the complaints I've seen repeatedly in negative reviews…

What are the negative reviews?

I almost bought this toy because of all the bad reviews on here, but I decided to take a chance - and I'm so glad I did! This is one of the coolest toys I've ever bought for my kids and I have absolutely no idea what other people are complaining about. Reviews refer to a previous version of the product. If so, it's a pity they affect the current version, which is excellent. We didn't have any stability problems. As others have pointed out, you must follow the instructions as there is a specific
