Too complicated for little kids, too small for big kids

So I wanted to like this product. Waited a month to leave a review. But right now, sitting in the living room, I realized that my kids haven't played with this product for 2 weeks. Delivery was good, although it arrived later than planned, which is no big deal. The manufacturer of this product was also very helpful and very nice, so I wanted the product to be liked and hoped it would work. After helping my 9 year old and 6 year old build a couple of forts I realized pretty quickly that these forts are too complex for a 6 year old to build alone and when they are done they are too small to interest my 9 year old child. The pieces are only enough for a small section fortress. So probably less than any fort your kids build from their sheets at home. In order to build a 2 or 3 level fortress, the sticks must be put in the correct hole of the ball with the corresponding letter. Well this will be very difficult for most young children to assemble which again is probably the age group these forts are intended for due to the size of the fort. In summary, I strongly recommend either buying multiple boxes of this product if you are planning to buy it for a child over 7 years old. Or buy one for a child under 6, but just rest assured that they are responsible for assembling if they ask. (like a king size bed sheet), anything smaller like a queen, twin, or full sheet won't cover it completely, and using multiple sheets doesn't work very well with these designs.
