I was hesitant to order this after reading several 'Low Star' reviews. But when it arrived I was thrilled. The stand is made in Taiwan (not China). The quality seems excellent. It is made of durable steel. The only plastic parts are the adjustment knobs, and they're sturdy. One reviewer complained about the need to adjust the centering tongs. Mine arrived right in the middle. But yes, they are adjustable. Depending on how your wheel is mounted on its axle etc. you may need to make an adjustment. But it's as simple as possible. I also like the ability to use the adjust knob to quickly change the "fork spacing" to match the front or rear hub. I bought it mainly to rebuild the Mavic wheelset. But it's so easy to use that I'll be testing the wheels on all of our bikes. The only downside is that it's not "Park Tool Blue".
