I definitely didn't get the nickel-plated stand. Mine is clearly black and white. Literally. I give 5 stars because it deserves 5 stars. Sturdy enough, not too expensive. Absolutely nothing was aligned correctly. The repair wasn't difficult, it took me about an hour to disassemble and carefully align the components. For example, the lever holding the leveling calipers was off-center by almost 1 cm. The solution was to loosen the screw, place the part in a vise and gently tap the pivot until it was centered. I took a chance because several reviews said they had the wrong build. However, this one is perfect. Lots of money saved. I was able to build an extremely heavy eBike hub with an old 10lb hub motor. The rim was so out of round with one spot that appeared to be "flat" so I figured the rim was junk and bought a new rim to replace.
