Review on BIKEHAND Bike Wheel Truing Stand for Professional Bicycle Wheel Maintenance - Essential Tool for Rim Truing with Free Spoke Wrenches and Sturdy Base by Pop Henneghan

High quality and high cost.

I was apprehensive about buying this stand compared to buying the Park TS-2.2 for almost $100 more. I've spent some time with the older generation Park TS-2 and didn't want to make a purchase that I would later regret. I'm glad I saved the money and have no regrets. The Bikehand adjustment stand is an excellent and well-made tool for everyday use in the bike shop. This stand is a very accurate replica of the Park stand, so close that you can use Park's instructions to set up the bike's calibration. racks. Calipers are calibrated differently than parking calipers, but are just as easy to calibrate and just as durable as the rest of the unit. The fit and finish is on par with the park in my opinion, the steel is thick, well formed, the fasteners and grips are high quality and everything moves smoothly and easily. I suppose that perhaps the fact that another brand chromed their stand instead of painting it could be the reason another reviewer states that the fit and finish of this stand wasn't as good, but you can't admit that a chrome flash is one indicator of quality, you have to look at how the metal was formed, how the stand was welded, the quality of the fasteners, the quality of the paintwork and the adjustment knobs. All this is absolutely at the level of competitors. All in all I would happily buy this stand again although I'm pretty sure it will last me the rest of my life.
