I suppose that perhaps the fact that another brand chromed their stand instead of painting it could be the reason another reviewer states that the fit and finish of this stand wasn't as good, but you can't admit that a chrome flash is one indicator of quality, you have to look at how the metal was formed, how the stand was welded, the quality of the fasteners, the quality of the paintwork and the adjustment knobs. All this is absolutely at the level of competitors. All in all I would happily buy this stand again although I'm pretty sure it will last me the rest of my life.
