I definitely didn't get the nickel-plated stand. Mine is clearly black and white. Literally. I give 5 stars because it deserves 5 stars. I've never used anything other than the blue brand so I'm used to the quality. When I read the reviews and everyone kept comparing this to the blue brand, I had to try this. I could tell from the design in the photos and the weight of the actual stand that it was of good quality before I bought it and I can tell you this is a quality stand. It's for life. This is the stand that I will probably keep forever. But if you want the one in the pictures, you can ask the seller. It also came with 3 spoke wrenches. It definitely surprised me. I'm impressed in every way.
