Jacquard Products Doubtful result: my truthful feedback

In general, finding a dye for synthetic fabrics is very difficult! There is very little information, reviews too. Therefore, I was not too lazy to register and write myself, I hope it will come in handy. So, the goal was to dye a small, ultra-thin polyester down jacket bought on sale from navy blue with red accents to black. I didn’t find the dye right away, but in the end I bought it, it cost 360 rubles. I did everything according to the instructions, it is quite simple, in a non-food enameled container, dilute the contents of two bags from the package, one dye, the other a fixative. The amount of water is not specified. Boiling is implied. Boiling polyester was scary, but our motto is "dementia and courage", I decided. I can't say enough about the smell. According to reviews on the Amazon, some almost fainted, for me it’s quite tolerable and not even very strong. By the way! In the same place, in the reviews, I found a situation where a person’s steam from a pot with dye stained kitchen furniture and did not wash off! So just keep in mind that this is a very caustic thing for all types of plastics. It can also be used to paint plastic. The first impression after painting was very positive! Jacket is black! More precisely, her dark blue places, and the red ones became muted burgundy, which, in general, was not critical, although not as perfect as we would like. But then the problems started. According to the instructions, after painting, the item should be washed with a mild detergent. I washed. The water was like ink. Washed a second time - the same thing. Moreover, when you rinse a thing, the water flows clear, but as soon as you add a little powder (or fairies), black paint immediately begins to ooze ... Well, ok, I thought and decided to dry my down jacket. When dry, it looked great, it only remained to straighten the fluff that had shrunk into lumps. And this is where it started... I straightened a few segments and suddenly saw that my yellow nail polish was covered with a mourning border. My jacket was shamelessly dyed! And since I was going to wear it under a coat, including light ones, it was a disaster. I washed it for the next two days. Probably 20 times. Every time the water flowed black. Strength was running out, patience too, I decided to boil it with powder. More ink in the pan. And among them... floats a BLUE jacket... I remind myself of the well-known heroine of our Alexander Sergeevich. Only my trough is not so much broken as soiled. By the way, while I was washing it, this paint got into my hands with terrible force, but it’s my own fault, I could wash it with gloves on. And the result is - in principle, the paint works. But how the thing will then behave in use and when washing is a question.

Pros
  • Really paints synthetic materials, but not everything is the same, lays down evenly, easy to use.
Cons
  • It is washed off when washing, the dyed thing is dyed in use.
