It's fine for small projects and light work. The first mission went smoothly, maybe one or the other traffic jam. The second time is terrible. It got stuck in every other staple by the looks of it. But for $30 it was what I expected. If you plan on using it a lot I'd probably get a better one, but if you need it for a thing or two here and there it's good value. I also smeared, so that's not the problem.
