INTERESTING! INVISIBLE AND COOLING, but letting in bright light

If your suburban HOA is anything like mine, there are rules as to what you can put in the window. BUT THIS FILM LOOKS RIGHT ON THE BLINDS - even my neighbor didn't believe it was a film. I also attached this tape to 14 east-facing windows that get lots of bright Texas light in the mornings and heat my entire house for the rest of the day. Since I applied the film, bright UV light still comes through, but NO HEAT. My house stays about 10 degrees cooler throughout the day and I don't have the sun's rays filtering through the cracks in the blinds into my eyes and onto my computer screen. Everything is light and cheerful, but cool and without glare. The film is 100% opaque. I put a bouquet of red, white and blue flowers and an American flag by the window 10 inches from the film - it was dark outside so I turned on the light in the drawing room. When I went outside to see if I could see anything within 10 inches of the film, I didn't see anything, not even outlines or traces of flowers. (You can see the vague outlines of some things less than 10 inches from the film.) GREAT PRODUCT. INTERESTING SOLUTION. Never stop making this film and never change the quality of the materials. THANK YOU THANK YOU! Installation Suggestion: Buy some inexpensive school presentation cardboard and create a stencil of the area you want to cover. Check the cardboard template on the window before cutting the foil. Transfer the pattern to the foil, trace the outlines with a ballpoint pen or a fine-tipped white felt-tip pen and then cut out exactly. DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, which ask you to cut the film larger than the window and then trim off the excess with a box cutter. Exacto knives, razors, and utility knives do not cut this film well, creating jagged edges. PRECISE CUTTING for best results. Make sure you have a spray bottle of water and get a squeegee that is at least 7 inches wide - I have them at the Dollar Store. You'll go nuts trying to flatten a large area with a small credit card.
