This filter gives the water coming out of the water dispenser in my Frigidaire fridge door a horrible chemical taste, even after several gallons have been spilled through it. I've bought counterfeit filters (non-OEM) before with varying degrees of success, but this one turned out to be the worst. The water tasted so bad with this filter that I ordered an OEM for a few more dollars and got back into business.
