Wrong size o-ring: filter
Unfortunately the largest o-ring was not the correct thickness for my VW Passat TDI but was invisible when installed. With the engine running, oil leaked from the oil filter housing. I put an old o-ring on this filter from a previous WIX filter and it seals perfectly. I've used WIX before with no problems.
