I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I had to purchase a new case without a kickstand to make this mount work at intended. I knew that going in as I knew I would need to attach the ring to the back of my phone case and it would have had to be placed over top of the stand. So, I am fine with that.That case I replaced my old with has a smooth back which allowed me to put the ring on the back without hassle. But that is also what brings up my only negitive comment.I have become used to charging my phone wirelessly at home. I have 3 wireless chargers. All worked fine with this case before attaching the ring. After attaching the ring, one will no longer charge my phone. Another charges it, but I have to make sure to place it just right. And the last one still charges the phone just fine. However, I think that speaks more about the charger than the ring, but it is worth noting.None of that is the mounts fault, but it is worth noting if you use an Android Phone in a case.Mounting the holder was a breeze. There is a lugnut that you loosen on the back to spread out the ends that clip to your vent. After placing the mount, just tighten the lugnut and it will hold firm. However, if you have the ability to turn off that individual vent to keep the air or heat from coming out through it, you should.It comes with different rings for the back of a phone case. A thicker and a thinner ring. The thicker is apparently there if you have a more textured case while the thinner ring is more for a smoother case.Clean the back of the case with the included wipe, then attach the clear ring "sticker". The actual ring sticks to that sticker.Once installed on the phone, it sticks extremely well. Then it is just a matter of placing it on the magnetic car mount.You can then place the phone in any position you would like and it will hold firm,regardless of road conditions.Easily the best mount I have tried.
