These lamps are not quite the quality of lamps you would buy in a large department store. LED filament is much shorter than the filament you get from most brand name bulbs. It's fine to build them into a ceiling light or bathroom cabinet, but in a table lamp, large, boxy bulbs look more like the actual filament of a vintage lamp. It also doesn't appear (at least not in my opinion) that these bulbs have an actual color/temperature of 4000K. 4000K should be a neutral colour/temperature on the colder side of the spectrum. I placed these bulbs next to a 2700K incandescent bulb in an open cage bulb and took a picture. What I see is a blue tint of light from a 4000K incandescent lamp and an orange tint from a 2700K incandescent lamp. But everyone perceives light in their own way, so I've attached a photo so consumers can see for themselves. I returned these bulbs because I was looking for a neutral bright white colour/temperature. They were too blue - they cooled my room too much for my liking. The 3500K lamps gave me the effect I was looking for.
