Review on 24-Pack SunnyBay Pain Relief Patches: Air-Activated Heat Therapy Pads For Lower Back Pain, Neck, Shoulder, Menstrual Cramps And More, 4 Reusable Belts, Up To 113°F Temperature by Karen Parker

Take About 30 Minutes To Warm Up

There are 24 disposable heat pads and 4 stretchy belts in this package. The belts work very well to hold the pads close to the body and are so comfortable they are barely noticeable when worn. The 4" by 5" pads are vacuum sealed in individual plastic envelopes. Once you cut the envelope open and remove the pad they start to warm up for the next half hour or so. After about 30 minutes there is a soothing warmth that lasts for about 12 hours. The four belts are individually packed in cellophane envelopes and can be reused many times. Each belt has a stiffer 12" wide central portion with two individually sewn pockets for the heat pads with long stretchy pieces attached to each end. One of the stretchy pieces has a hook tape on the end that will stick at any spot for a customized fit. The belt measures 36" in total but the long portions could be stretched considerably to fit a larger body. The box says you can seal the opened heat pad in a thick plastic bag so it is devoid of air and reuse in the morning. That did work, but the pad didn't get as warm the second day. I'd consider them to be one-day use.The instructions also say that after use you can empty the heat pad into soil to enrich it because it only contains iron and carbon powder. That does make the disposable pad sound better ecologically. The expiration date was about 1 3/4 years in the future.A definite favorite that doesn't require microwaving or an electric connection and lasts for hours and hours.
