I bought this product in March 2018. My job as a graphic designer and illustrator is to draw directly on the screen with the Surface Pen almost every day. And lately my stylus has become unreadable due to all the scratches my stylus left on the screen protector; When I try to draw the lines, they fly about half an inch in each direction, depending on the grain and the direction of the many micro-scratches. This is not a scratch guard as advertised but in a short space of time this product has worked, it has worked well. If you frequently use your Surface laptop's touchscreen functionality, a different screen protector might work better.
