Review on 🌬️ Denso 197-6030 Mass Air Flow Sensor: Superior Performance & Reliability by Bobby Aghetoni

** EDIT: DIED in less than 2 weeks! ** Fixed my P0171, P0174 Check Engine Codes!

EDIT: So frustrating that this part died completely in less than 2 weeks resulting in my not being able to successfully start the car. It starts and dies instantly. I was in an area where I couldn't leave my car so I had to pay for towing, some diagnostics from a mechanic to confirm the MAF sensor was bad (I had a feeling it was the MAF was, but I wanted to be sure ) and then a new MAF sensor which I replaced again myself (the mechanic wanted to charge over $300 for a MAF replacement but I definitely didn't pay knowing that the part itself is about $100 at full price and literally takes a screwdriver and 2 minutes to change). Overall, this part was a $300 mistake. I was right to replace the part which solved my problem and saved me a lot of money (>$300 for a mechanic compared to the price of the part) but because I got a crappy part all those savings are gone. to the wind. live and learn My guess is that the part I received was either non-genuine Denso (my OEM Denso MAF lasted almost 20 years!) or was second hand. Very disappointed and now cautious about buying similar products from Amzn in the future as they may be of questionable origin or quality. First review below: 2002 Camry V6, 130,000 miles. I have a terrible check engine light and really didn't want to spend money on such an old battered car. I like to do a lot of home repairs with my own hands, but I'm a complete idiot when it comes to cars. Found some simple troubleshooting tips, e.g. B. changing the air filter and cleaning the MAF sensor. Clearing the MAF removed the code for a couple of months, but then it came back. I drove it for a few months thinking it would be expensive to fix and my car was definitely not running very smooth. Don't do this as it's really bad for the engine! Then I finally realized that replacing the mass air flow sensor with a new one has a high chance of solving my problem, it will be very easy to do and it will be relatively inexpensive. It should have been obvious as cleaning the MAF fixed the problem for a few months. Anyway, I didn't want to skimp on this part due to an accidental counterfeit, so I went with this Denso replacement (the OEM was also Denso) and got a pretty good price on the Revain compared to other vendors. Replaced the MAF sensor which took the full 2 minutes, cleared the code and has been fine ever since. The car drives better, the catch is off! I hope it sticks but I'm sure the sensor would have needed replacing anyway and the mechanic would have paid at least triple that. Very happy with the results!
