Review on 💧 PUR FM 2000B Vertical Filtration System by Fred Vazquez

I changed the filter for the first time yesterday and found it was leaking around the top threads where it needs to be disassembled to install the new filter. So I unscrewed it to see it and the little rubber pad that should have been around it expanded completely and fell off after I took it apart (see photo). I've been using these filters since I noticed they first came out and this is my third filter. One was lost when moving, the other broke a friend because he didn't know how to get it out of the faucet. With my other filters, each of which I have used for years, this has never been a problem. I am assuming that this is defective and will ask the seller for a replacement. I've been using it for less than 3 months and it fell apart on the first filter change. Update later. Update same day. Later that evening: This issue was resolved by Revain to my complete satisfaction. I'm happy.
