Update September 25, 2021: I decided to give this pump a second chance because the price was so attractive. This time I bought two 24v versions to pump water out of my shallow fountain and into my ornamental water feature. BOTH pumps died within 2 weeks of operation. I think the pumps are failing due to water getting into the motor housing. I have since replaced it with another pump that has been running for a month with no problems. Those Bacoeng pumps are unreliable junk. I contacted the seller about the warranty and was told there was none. Original review: This pump has a good flow rate when in operation. Mine was only able to run about 15 hours before the motor burned out. I used it to draw water from a shallow well that only required a 4 foot head. One morning I discovered that my engine controls were disabled and malfunctioning; Upon investigation, I found that the pump motor was shorted and smelled like burned electronics.
