UPDATE: I'm reducing my rating to 1 star. I was right about the mini USB connector. Carefully removing the memory cable ripped the port out of the circuit board (image). When I tried to put it back in place, I found that the red wire connection had also been disconnected (not shown in the photo). The included diamond painting tools are the reason I chose this lightbar option. They are also the only reason I give such a high rating. The light panel itself is of very poor quality. Dust and hair got into the board. (Not critical for diamond painting but will be very annoying for other projects. ) An even bigger problem is that the mini USB connector is extremely fragile and I feel I can break it by carefully plugging or unplugging the mini USB. Another usage note: you need to pay attention to where the touch button is when using the clips to keep your project stable as the clips will activate the button.
