Review on WIX Filters Complete Line Filter Replacement Parts ... Fuel System by Jay Mitchell

For Tundra 2002. I am the original owner and have changed the fuel filter at least 6 times (truck has 270,000 miles). I replaced a Wix filter I bought from Revain in 2014. (Worked well at 65,000 miles. Replaced old filter due to mileage and no other reason.) This new Wix filter did not seal. The leak up front (to the engine) was a fuel leak. The rear connector was also leaking. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice, no change. The filter thread was rough out of the box. Later I went to the local car dealership and bought a Puralator filter. It worked with no issues and sealed with 14 pounds of torque. I would not buy another Wix fuel filter. Quality control seems to be slipping.
