WIX Filters Complete Line Filter Replacement Parts ... Fuel System Review

This filter was made wrong, I used it as a replacement for a wix filter I've been using lately, inside this one looks different and won't close, gas leaking as soon as I started the engine. I ended up having to reattach the old filter to go to the auto parts store to buy a real Wix filter. No more Revain car parts!

I wouldn't give any stars for this but it's not an option. The threads in the fuel filter are not cut deep enough into the casting, causing the fuel line fitting to fail without proper sealing. Because of this, the flare fitting doesn't seal, so fuel ends up escaping and splashing onto the exhaust system. I tried 4 times to seal it but to no avail. For Tundra 2002. I am the original owner and have changed the fuel filter at least 6 times (truck has 270,000 miles). I replaced a Wix filter I bought from Revain in 2014. (Worked well at 65,000 miles. Replaced old filter due to mileage and no other reason.) This new Wix filter did not seal. The leak up front (to the engine) was a fuel leak.
