My only criterion for choosing a knife roll was that it had to be long enough for my large 16-inch slice of Tojiro bread (all handle included), and shockingly, it's the only one on Amazon that I've come across in less could find than for 50-100 dollars. .Quality is good, nothing special in terms of materials or construction. Just a nice lightweight padded roll for storage or travel. I personally bought this for cross country trips and needed something to protect my blades while traveling. It does the trick perfectly and at a great price. There is no reason not to give 5 stars.
