Review on 🔧 Dorman 674-509 Exhaust Manifold: Perfect Fit for Acura, Honda, and Isuzu Models by Frank Ridl

Having installed many of Dorman's products as a mechanic I can say that the price is almost always good but fitment can vary widely on many of their products. This header fitted a 1996 Honda Accord EX perfectly, I was able to use the original heat shield as the Dorman has sharper edges and I like the look of the original better. The original heat shield fitted well. The only complaint was that the drain pipe gaskets were not the right size for my application as stated by other reviews. Knowing Honda, they probably had slight differences between models and years for this engine. Dorman had better list the uses for these gaskets so I can order them before installing. I kept the original drain pipe gaskets and they work fine. It was the best price and a great solution, now my wife doesn't say my car sounds like an old lawnmower. For the past few months I've had to park on the street due to exhaust noise waking kids up early in the morning when starting the car. Now I can finally park in the garage!
