Review on Versatile and Efficient: Little Donkey Andy Men's Stretch Quick Dry Cargo Shorts for Hiking, Camping, and Travel by Jason Wesley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Light, comfortable, good value for money, more left-handed.

They're light, not for sitting on a log, but good for the hot climate I live in. They are breathable and comfortable. They were worth their price. A few personal quibbles. I would have preferred the top front pockets not to have a zipper. But it's okay, the stars aren't deducted. "A" back pocket? I wish there were two then I wouldn't notice but. it seems to be on the wrong side for this right-hander. :) Being right-handed, I was taught when I got my first wallet to keep it in my left back pocket. And for a right-handed gentleman, it always seemed like a logical placement. I don't have to use my dominant hand to get my wallet. I use my left hand for pull-ups and my dominant right hand for "fine" coordination work. (Flip through notes, pull out a card, etc.) It's fine, but I'll make sure to note the back pocket location next time I buy a pair of shorts. However, I'm deducting a star because it's cheaper and only has one back pocket. Holding my wallet on the right means reaching back with my right hand, taking it out, putting it in my left hand and doing the same with my right. An extra step. I suspect a lot of gentlemen do that, but as a gentleman I don't notice it. :)So. I definitely leave it on the left front, I think it's safer.
