Review on πŸ”§ Revitalize and Transform with WoodEpox Wood Replacement Compound 2 Pint Kit by Dan Barrett

Wood E Pox, Child of Chick N Pox

It's not what I expected at all but it's pretty cool. I used it to keep my existing porch columns and connect the balustrades to the columns with no sealant as the exterior sealant will always show through the paint. This tan dries out - I swear it should dry to white - but it holds the color well, so it's not too much of a problem. It's easy to use as you can hold a drop in one hand and apply with the other hand. The catering gloves (and plastic spatula) they give you are the cheapest out there and I think some of the best doctor gloves will make your life easier. Molding this material perfectly to get the shape you want isn't my forte, but it can be sanded and milled in other ways, so basically you can do it however you want. They measure it an ounce and not grams (or dry ounces), although technically it's a solid, albeit not very dense. I believe this is done to make you feel like you are getting more than you really are. I was surprised at how small the containers were (although of course I know what a pint is) but a little goes a long way. Strangest texture and appearance I can imagine. Keep it away from children because they want to feel and eat it; I know that.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
